DON'T LET ANYONE FOOL YOU, THE FORK CAN KILL YOU! I remember right before Thanksgiving's Day at a service my Pastor, Anthony Motley made the statement, "The fork can kill you." As I thought about it, that statement was so true and a reminder to us all, as we go about our Holiday Buffets and great meals; watch what you eat! Don't let anyone fool you over the Holidays, over eating can kill you! There is nothing wrong with a little cake or pie after dinner, but remember too much of anything is not good for you, and that includes food. When shopping at the grocery store, slow down and start to take notice of the labels on the back of the foods you are buying. Note: Sodium, Saturated Fat, Calcium, Dietary Fiber, Total Carbohydrates and Sugars. Those ingredients, to name just a few if controlled, can help you to stay healthy. SEVERAL KEYS TO REMEMBER REGARDING FOOD AND HEALTH! Always include fresh fruit and vegetables in your diet! Be sure when you get home from shopping to throughly wash and rinse all open items! When preparing meat items, it is important that you cook all meats and items to be served at proper temperatures. Food poisoining has become almost common in some restaurants and homes that do not properly heat and reheat items for consumption. Stay Healthy and Blessed!
